Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has started rolling- out an update of gesture feature just similar to Apple iPhone X. ‘ Full-Screen Gestures’ feature is specifically designed for the smartphones those have 18:9 aspect ratio which enables the user to perform various activities just by applying simple gestures on the screen. Gesture- Feature makes the navigation easier and the user won’t require the software navigation keys which sets at the bottom of the display. Gesture- feature has been already introduced by the company on Mi Mix 2.
As per the MIUI Forum, the gesture feature would be equipped with Global Beta ROM (8.3.1) or MIUI 9.5 and above. The beta update of gesture feature comes with three basic gestures.
First-gesture enables the user to visit the home screen directly even without touching the home button. Swipe your finger from the bottom to top and you will reach the home page directly.
With the help of gesture feature, the user is able to open the recently opened tabs and applications on the smartphone. For this, the user has to swipe the finger from bottom to top and then hold for a second for accessing the recent apps or tabs in the smartphone.
In the final gesture, the user is able to go back to go back to the previous page of an app just by swiping a finger from the left edge or right edge of the screen.

Currently, the company is offering gesture feature in two smartphones which include Mi MIX 2 and Redmi Note 5 Pro along with thin- bezels and full screen. The company has confirmed that Xiaomi Redmi 5 would be launched on 14th March in India.

For the selfie snapper, the smartphone has a 20-megapixel front- facing camera featuring a 1.0μm, f/2.2 aperture, Beautify 4.0, Selfie-light, Selfie timer and Face recognition.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is now available for purchase in India at a price of Rs 13,999. The company is offering the smartphone in four color options: Gold, Rose Gold, Lake Blue and Black.
