Today Xiaomi announced a new air purifier at a price tag of 1999 yuan ($305). This is the most expensive product from its purifiers line, but it’s quite justified. The Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier Max’s CADR value is 1000 m³/h. The maximum area it can purify is 120 square meters. But what’s more amazing this device can purify the air of a 21 square meters room in 3 minutes only.
The Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier Max is the fifth product after the original Mi Air Purifier, the second-gen Mi Air Purifier 2, the best Mi Air Purifier Pro, newly launched the Mi Air Purifier 2S, and the Mijia Car Air Purifier. Until today, the Pro version was the most expensive model with a price tag of 1299 yuan ($198). But it CADR value is only 500 m³/h, while the purification area is up to 60 square meters.
In terms of design, all models come with identical appearance. But only the last three models in face of the Pro, 2S, and Max variants come with an OLED display to view some important information concerning the mode it works in, the days left before the filter change, and so on.
Apart from those features, the Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier Max comes with a noise reduction technology at 34dB. The other highlight of its features is the replaceable filter. Moreover, there are two filters placed on both sides. Usually, they are replaced twice in a year. The top panel is detachable. This has been done with only one purpose in mind – to replace the filters manually.
The Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier Max will go on sale on December 26 at a price tag of 1999 yuan. Thus the manufacturer has doubled the CADR value but increased the price by 700 yuan only.
