Last year Xiaomi launched the first true bezel-less smartphone in face of the Mi MIX and began a new era in the smartphones history. Many manufacturers turned to this trend quickly and launched their own models. But actually, there were only a few models worthy our attention. No one will argue if I say only the Samsung Galaxy S7 was competing with this handset. The rest models just were released to fulfill the gap in the market. I mean they have been designed as the cheap alternatives of the Mi MIX. Among them, we can mention the Doogee MIX, Maze Alpha, Bluboo S1, and a couple of other handsets. Now when the full-screen has come to replace another trend in the smartphone market (dual-camera), many Chinese manufacturers have announced their own models as well. So we are going to take a glance at all of them. Let’s get acquainted with the top 10 Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 alternatives. Of course, they yield the Chinese Apple in terms of uniqueness, build quality, and performance. But they are the way cheaper. This means they are quite affordable for those who are tough on the budget.

Maze Alpha X
As the name suggests, this is the successor of the first-gen Maze Alpha. It’s going to hit the market in the nearest future. So if you like the appearance and the features it comes with, you can put a pre-order. Though this phone hasn’t been officially announced yet, most of its features are already known. The Maze Alpha X should come with an 18:9 screen. The diagonal of the display still remains unknown, but the phone will provide 2160×1080 pixels resolution. It’s said the display is supplied by LG and it should occupy about 89.6% of the front panel. To protect from scratches it is covered with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The Maze Alpha X is said to come with a MediaTek Helio P25 chip paired with a 6GB of RAM, 64/128GB of internal storage, and 4000mAh battery.
DOOGEE MIX 2
This model comes with identical features. The DOOGEE MIX 2 is packed with a 5.99-inch screen providing the same Full HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Thus it is larger than its predecessor with a 5.5-inch screen. It’s protected by a Gorilla Glass as well. As for hardware, this handset sports an Helio P25 chip, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of ROM, 4060mAh battery, and quad-camera modules (16+13MP on the back and 8+8MP on the front). There is also a USB Type-C for faster data transfer that also supports OTG.
This is another mid-range alternative of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. Like the former two models, it sports a 5.99-inch Full HD+ 18:9 screen using an INCELL matrix. It’s made of glass, while the frame uses a metal material for better build quality. Not accidentally, it is powered by the same chip found on the models above. It is paired with a 6+64GB memory option. There are also a 21+2MP dual-camera on the back and 13MP shooter on the front. The former camera module comes with an aperture of f/2.0 and it is capable of recording 4K videos. As for the front camera, it is accompanied with a flashlight and supports a blur mode. To provide a long life the manufacturer has packed it with a 4080mAh battery.
Vernee MIX 2
This handset is the closest rival of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 in terms of appearance. The latter comes with a ceramic housing, while the Vernee MIX 2 uses glass as the main material for the fuselage. Moreover, it has placed the front shooter on the bottom part like its found father. The rest is identical to the aforementioned models. There is an Helio P25 chip, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of ROM, a 13+5MP dual-camera using Sony IMX258 sensor and supporting OIS, an 8MP front shooter, a 4200mAh battery, and a 6-inch 18:9 full-screen occupying more than 93.07% of the front panel.
Probably, this phone has been made to compete with both the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. Unlike the previous models, it comes with a 5.7-inch IPS screen providing 1440 x 720 pixels resolution. The screen ratio is 83%. It is covered with a 2.5D glass and uses GFF technology. It’s also packed with a MediaTek MTK6737T quad-core chip clocked at 1.5GHz. The memory options yield other models as well. There is a 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM. The rear camera uses a 13MP sensor interpolated to 16MP, while the front shooter comes with an 8MP lens interpolated to a 13MP one. Finally, it is equipped with a 3200mAh battery.
Ulefone MIX 2
This device looks like the Xiaomi Mi 6. But thanks to a full-screen it should be considered as the closest rival to the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. However, the Ulefone MIX 2 comes with a screen identical to the Cubot X18. It is packed with a 5.7-inch display with a 720p resolution. It is also covered with a Gorilla Glass 3. The chip is almost the same, MTK6737. But the memory has been reduced, even more, 2+16GB. Though the hardware is not that impressive, the manufacturer wasn’t afraid to put a dual-camera there. The Ulefone MIX 2 sports a 13+5MP shooter on the back, and an 8MP one on the front. At last, the MIX 2 features a 3300mAh battery.
LEAGOO KIICAA MIX
When it comes to the price-over-hardware ratio, the LEAGOO KIICAA MIX can be considered one of the best full-screen phones. But actually, it looks like the first-gen Mi MIX rivals. However, the KIICAA MIX is packed with a 5.5-inch Full HD screen supplied by Sharp. The display occupied about 90% of the front panel. Apart from this, the LEAGOO KIICAA MIX is powered by an MTK6750T octa-core chip, 3+32GB memory combination, 13+2MP dual-camera, 13MP front camera, and a 3000mAh battery supporting 5V2A fast charge technology.

Vkworld Mix 2
When this handset was unveiled a few weeks back many began thinking finally this company had gone to be serious. Actually, the Vkworld Mix 2 is going to compete with other Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 clones. Not that much known about this phone, but the Vkworld Mix 2 has been rumored to come with Helio P25 and Helio X30 chips, 6GB RAM, 128GB of ROM, 5500mAh battery, dual-camera, and so on. It should be priced under $200.
Yet another 5.7-inch full-screen phone with a Full HD resolution. It is packed with an MTK3737T quad-core chip, 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM, 5MP front camera, 13+5MP rear shooter, and 3000mAh battery. Uhans Mix 2
This one sports a 5.99-inch FHD+ full-screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It adopts the latest Helio P30 chip backed by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There should be a 13+13MP dual-camera, and a selfie-centric shooter placed on the front left bottom corner.
