We have been thinking there are only a few Chinese manufacturers designing MacBook-inspired products. But the list is getting longer and longer. A new product named the Teclast F6 is going to join the rest of affordable ultra-thin laptops such as the Jumper EZBook 3L Pro and T-bao Tbook 4. It is currently available for pre-order at a price tag of $299.99, which simply means we should find more than one selling points on this laptop. One thing is clear – we are dealing with a relatively top bran. Therefore, you shouldn’t doubt the build quality.
Recently, we introduced the high-end ultrabook dubbed as the Teclast F6 Pro. As you can guess, the F7 continues the best traditions of the F-series, but it is aiming at the mid-range market. The Teclast F7 comes with a regular look of Apple MacBook Air clones. Its body has a thickness of 13.5mm, which is almost the same as the Jumper EZBook 3L Pro’s 13.7mm housing. Plus, this laptop weighs 1.23kg that is a bit lighter than the Jumper model’s weight of 1.3kg. The keyboard is identical to the model we are comparing with. The key pitch is 19.5mm, which is an acceptable option.
The Teclast F7 sports a 14-inch IPS screen with an FHD resolution. But its main competitors in face of the EZBook 3L Pro and Tbook 4 come with an NT screen, though the resolution is similar. Under the hood, we can find an Intel Celeron N3450 chip, which is paired with a 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. We guess you will need more space. So you can use the M.2 SSD slot to expand the storage. At last, there is a number of input/output interfaces including 2x USB 3.0 and HDMI ports.
