8-inch tablets are very popular. They even are more popular than larger-screen models. The reason should be hidden in their portability. But what’s more interesting there is a new trend – almost all 8-inch tablets run on Windows 10 OS. Earlier, when dual-boot tablets were launched in hundreds, they were running on Android as well as Windows. But now seems the tablet customers give preferences to Microsoft’s operating system. A few days back one of the leading tablet makers in China introduced a new player in this niche, the Jumper EZPad mini 4S. As the name suggests, this is the lighter variant of the original Jumper EZPad 4S. But it comes with a few selling points that won’t let customers pass by.
The Jumper EZPad mini 4S sports an 8.3-inch IPS touchscreen. It uses an OGS technology, which means there is no additional layer between the display and the glass. So the pictures seem closer to eyes. Thus the viewing experience is way more pleasant. Moreover, it provides a Full HD resolution with 1920×1200 pixels.
Though this display is capable of providing great performance, similar screens can be found on other tablets as well. So let’s get acquainted with the rest of features. The Jumper EZPad mini 4S is packed with an Intel Atom x5-Z8350 chip, which comes with 4 cores and runs on a 14nm process node. It is paired with a 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
Surprisingly, there are two camera sensors placed on the back and front. And though we know the front camera uses a 2MP lens for clearer video calls, the resolution of the second camera remains unknown. Probably it is 5MP.
The Jumper EZPad mini 4S is good in terms of connectivity. Besides a WiFi and Bluetooth support, MicroUSB, micro HDMI, and other ports, it sports a USB 3.0 port. I can’t remember an 8-inch tablet from this price range coming with a faster USB interface. At last, this tablet is equipped with a 4500mAh battery.
