A few days back, on March 27, the leading Chinese smartphone maker launched the Huawei P20 and its larger variant in face of the Huawei P20 Pro. The first model is priced at 649 euros, while the Pro model costs 899 euros. At this moment, we are offering you to take a peek at the latter, as it’s known as the ‘first’ in many aspects.
Actually, there are few color options including the sapphire blue, cherry pink gold, and bright black. We are looking at the blue variant that looks amazing. The Huawei P20 Pro uses a double-glass body. The back of the phone uses a structural color gradual plating process to provide a mysterious aurora color with gradient changing effect.
As for the hardware, the device is packed with a 6.1-inch full-screen display, a Kirin 970 AI chip, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of ROM, and 4000mAh battery.
Though there are too many selling points for this handset, its camera stands out. This is for the first time when we see a tri-camera module on a smartphone. The Huawei P20 Pro sports a tri-camera using a 40MP color + 20MP black and white + 8MP telephoto three-lens combination. The camera comes with a sensitivity of ISO 102400, 1/1.7-inch sensor area, and dark shooting mode. Plus, it features a 3x optical zoom lens, while it supports 5x zoom due to the three-lens design. There is also a 4D predictive focusing capability, which provides a more quick focusing, supports 960 frames of ultra-slow motion video capture, etc. at DxOMark the phone scores 114 points that is the highest result currently.
Apart from this, the Huawei P20 Pro is equipped with an AI Image Stabilizer, which filters and corrects image shifts and blurs caused by handshake. It can support up to 4 seconds of shutter time. So to get clear night shots you don’t need a tripod anymore.
In terms of functions, the phone supports fast face recognition. In the PC mode, the mobile phone is changed to a computer in seconds. In addition, Huawei’s first AI ambient sound recognition can capture sound details in outdoor air vents or in noisy rooms.
At last, it runs on EMUI 8.1 pre-installed based on Android 8.1 depth customization.
