Today Huawei held a conference and the manufacturer unleashed a couple of new products. But before that, it announced the company has been among top 5 smartphone makers for three years. They could reach such heights due to several smartphone lines such as P, Mate, Nova, and others. But the most popular Huawei smartphone brand is Honor. The first device from this family has been out four years ago on November 21. So with the launch of these two products the company gives tribute to Honor line. First, it announced the slightly variant of its Honor 9 phone named the Huawei Honor 9 Youth Edition or Huawei Honor 9 Lite. Second, the company announced a new portable Bluetooth speaker named the Huawei Honor AM51 Bluetooth speaker aka Honor Arena Music.
The top of the Huawei Honor AM51 Bluetooth speaker is covered with fabric-like mesh whereas, while the bottom is made of TPU. There is a special string that can be used to holster or hang your speaker. A few physical keys, as well as a microphone, are on the bottom. There is also a USB charging port covered with a flap. Though the Honor Arena Music is waterproof, it comes with an IP5X rating only. It comes with dimensions of 100x100x42mm and weighs only 190 grams.
As we said, the Huawei Honor AM51 Bluetooth speaker supports Bluetooth 4.1 with a transmission distance of 10m. Moreover, it also supports noise-reduction calls and comes with a built-in independent antenna. Its 700mAh battery provides up to 8.5 hours of continues playback on a single charge.
