We are living in an era, where machines help people in doing almost everything. On the one hand, people no longer command them, as they have ‘intellect’ and know what to do and when to do. So no need to manipulate them. On the other hand, these machines not only help us to solve many tasks, but also let us control our time and do what we like and not what we have to do. Say, in the past, we have had to clean the floor ourselves. You know how it happens. We have had to drag it slowly and clean up the dirt. But now this job is done by robotic cleaners. We can even be sure our houses will be cleaned at a certain time and in a certain manner even if are not home. There are over dozen brands coming with smart and powerful cleaners. Among them, we can mention the Alfawise, iLife, Xiaomi, and other sweeping robots. But this one we are going to review has been launched only recently and it comes from a company mostly known for smartphones. Meet the 360 Sweeping Robot. This smart cleaner has been made for those who are ‘lazy’ or want to enjoy their time leaving all those homework to ‘intelligent’ robots.

360 Sweeping Robot Design
All robotic cleaners come with a circle shape like the rest of models on the market. This is the most suitable shape to clean every corner of a house. Generally, the 360 Sweeping Robot looks like other robotic cleaners. This is not a Dyson robotic cleaner, but it looks quite stylish and doesn’t yield other products from the same category.
On the top, we can see the company’s logo printed on a disk-shape small lump. But actually, it’s the LDS sensor that is capable of spinning at 6rv s to create a high-quality map of the surrounding. Surprisingly, it can remember the map for the next sweep after it’s done. So when you want it to clean a room that has been cleaned earlier, the robotic cleaner won’t re-scan it. Instead, it will display the previous map.
There are not many buttons on the top. But the dust box can be removed from the top as well. What we like, everything in this model is in English. So unlike many Chinese products, it is made for larger masses. As you can see, there is a printing of ‘Open’. So you have to press it to pop up the clasp and empty the dust box. The latter comes with a capacity of 0.4L and contains 3 filters (primary filter, sponge filter, and HEPA filter). The HEPA filter supports washing for a long-time use.
Finally, we can see two round buttons on the top that represent the replenishment/partial cleaning and the function of cleaning/powering on and off. As you guess, each button does two tasks via short and long presses, respectively.
The 360 Sweeping Robot comes with three drop sensors to prevent falling down the stairs, two dust brushes, the main brush, and an installation area for the water tank components. This cleaner supports cleaning + mopping functions.
It comes with a height of 10cm, which simply means this robotic cleaner can reach all areas without a trouble.
360 Sweeping Robot Performance
This product is using three NIDEC Nissan imported fans with an 800pa, 1300-1500pa, and a 1800pa of air pressure. So it will work perfectly under various conditions and for various needs. Say, when you need to clean everything including carpets in a very dirty room, the 1800pa maximum suction is considered to do a great job.
However, when you give a command to the 360 Sweeping Robot to start cleaning firstly it scans the room via the LDS Lidar, then it identifies the best cleaning path via SLAM algorithm, and only after these two steps, it begins the cleaning process. These algorithms help the cleaner to scan the room and avoid obstacles during the operation easily. This not only protects itself but also preventing from damaging the furniture. LiDAR stands for Light Detection And Ranging, while SLAM stands for Simultaneous Localization And Mapping. As for a real experience, it took about 15 minutes from the sweeping robot to clean an 8 ㎡room. The 360 Sweeping Robot is capable of cleaning up to 200 square meters in 2 hours on a single charge. But if the power gets the critical state, the cleaner will find the charger and get charged automatically.
Of course, the 360 Sweeping Robot can be controlled via the APP. Here, you can not only control the working modes, cleaning areas, positioning but also view cleaning records, remaining power and more. Plus, you can set a room or a certain area as restricted not to disturb people there.
The 360 Sweeping Robot is a good assistant. Moreover, it costs 1699 yuan ($269), which is the 1/3 or ¼ of top brand cleaners. So it’s better to say this product compete with the robot cleaners such as the second-gen Xiaomi robotic cleaner named the Roborock Sweep One. In this sense, 360 Sweeping Robot doesn’t yield its competitors at all. Moreover, it comes with the same stylish look and the same smart algorithms that provide the best cleaning experience.
